OPTIMESS CSD

The OPTIMESS CS and CSD are phase-based time-of-flight laser scanners developed specifically for contact wire measurement, yet also suited to general measurement tasks. The OPTIMESS CS and CSD laser scanners stand out for their compact size and low weight. At the same time, they are built for harsh environments, delivering the highest reliability and a long service life. Unlike the CS, the OPTIMESS CSD has an additional downward-facing measuring field. This gives you a choice of one or two 60° scan sectors.

The Opti Cat Position software processes the measurement data, compensates for vehicle movements and presents the results in clear visualisations. Its modular design lets you integrate complementary products as required, and its open interfaces connect it to further systems.

Beyond straightforward integration, the open interface also provides transparent access to raw data and measurement profiles – ideal for customer-specific analyses, process integration and your own software solutions.
