Light-section sensor XLS

OPTIMESS XLS

The OPTIMESS 2D XLS light section sensors set new standards in precise surface and profile measurement.

These rugged triangulation laser distance sensors were developed for the most demanding operating conditions and deliver reliable measurement results even in extreme cold, under strong vibration and in harsh industrial environments.

Even dark, bright or reflective surfaces are captured reproducibly and with high accuracy.

With measurement ranges extending to line lengths of over 3 metres, the OPTIMESS XLS sensor class offers exceptional flexibility for a wide variety of applications.

  • Measuring distance ranges from 100 to 2000 mm
  • Line lengths from 80 to 3000 mm
  • Up to 4200 measurement points per profile
  • Extremely resistant to harsh environmental conditions
  • Waterproof (IP67)
  • Wide temperature range from -20 to 55 °C
  • Scan rates up to 5,000 Hz
  • Insensitive to sunlight
